Abstract
A new electrical method is presented for locating tracks of charged particles in very thin plastic sheets. Short high voltage pulses are employed rather than the steady voltages used previously. The method is applicable to plastic sheets of large area and of thickness down to 3.5 μ. The background is low and the efficiency greater than 85%.Keywords
