Abstract
In the choice of eucalypt species for short rotation crops it is important to consider not only pulping characteristics and yields of pulpwood but also the ability of the species to coppice. Bark type will also influence choice of species to a marked degree either by virtue of its ease of removal or its acceptability for pulping. Keywords
