Abstract
A [1, 0] Padé approximant to the long-range interaction energy is used to describe the outer limb of the Rydberg-Klein-Rees curve of the state B (3Π0u +) of Br2 and Cl2. Empirical values of C 5 and C 6 are obtained.Keywords
