Abstract
The authors report the fabrication of 980 nm wavelength lasers with reduced divergence angle and circular beams for high efficiency fibre coupling. Threshold currents of 50 mA, singlemode output power of 70 mW and <1 dB coupling loss to a cleaved singlemode fibre are reported. Keywords
