Characterization of high bit rate phase modulators based on semiconductor optical amplifiers

Abstract
Optical phase modulation with a semiconductor optical amplifier is investigated. By equalizing the phase response, the 3 dB bandwidth is extended from 600 MHz to 2.5 GHz.Keywords
