Abstract
It was found that ZnCl2–CuCl melts showed an excellent hydrocracking activity for anthracene compared with that of molten ZnCl2 catalyst in view of increasing the yield of low boiling hydrocracked products. The difference of activities between ZnCl2–CuCl melts and ZnCl2 melts is discussed primarily based on the product distribution. Keywords
