Abstract
In a narrow enough, half-filled band of interacting fermions, a hole creates a ferromagnetic spin polarization spreading over a large volume around it. We suggest this model might apply to the case of a vacancy in b.c.c. 3He. This would provide a possible explanation of the susceptibility anomaly near the Néel PointKeywords
