Helical dislocations in α-sulphur single crystals

Abstract
Dislocation helices have been observed in crystals of sulphur grown from solution in carbon disulphide at temperatures close to ambient temperature. Their formation is discussed in terms of the low lattice and high dislocation core diffusion in this solid.Keywords
