Abstract
The 55 Mn zero-field NMR spectra and their field dependence of the light rare earth RMn 2 compounds have been measured at 4.2 K. The results indicate antiferromagnetism of these compounds. The values of Mn moments estimated from the center resonance frequency of the quadrupole splitting are 2.3 µ B for SmMn 2 , 3.0 µ B for NdMn 2 and 3.2 µ B for PrMn 2 .Keywords
