Finite field wavelet transforms and multilevel error protection

Abstract
A technique for providing unequal error protection is investigated. It relies on a transform approach to coding and makes use of the wavelet transform over finite fields. Reed-Muller codes, concatenated codes and dual codes are examined.Keywords
