Abstract
The beauties of running water include its acoustical dimension. Although it is yet to be investigated analytically and described as to source, quality, and control, great human comfort and solace seem to result from it. While water is a constant object of environmental manipulation, and literary reference to the sounds of running water are both plentiful and appreciative, technical reference to it is near nonexistent. Keywords
