Abstract
The genus Nysius, Dallas, as pointed out by China (1934), is in some respects the most cosmopolitan of all Hemipterous genera. Two species have been previously described from Australia, of which one, Nysius vinitor, Berg., occurs in every State of the Commonwealth. The other species, Nysius clevelandensis, Evans, is known only from Queensland.
