Abstract
Polyorchidism is a rare anomaly of the testicles. Only about 60 cases have been described so far. A four-year-old boy who was admitted because of a maldescent of the left testicle was found at operation to have a third, atrophic testicle, which was removed. The various forms of polyorchidism, their embryological origins, other malformations and therapeutic measures are discussed. Keywords
