Abstract
This report deals with the issue of the amplified and unamplified speech spectra as they relate to the residual auditory range. The methods for predicting intelligibility of both amplified and unamplified speech are discussed. Based on Pavlovic (1987) an articulation index-based procedure applicable to clinical data is derived (A1). A simplified version (Ao) is also proposed. Keywords
