Abstract
The use of a Sharpoint blade to perform anterior capsulotomy eliminates the problem of capsular tags superiorly and facilitates removal of cortical remnants. The crisp, clean edge of the superior portion of the capsulotomy enhances visualization and aids in intraocular lens placement in the capsular bag. Keywords
