MENINGIOMAS are tumors of the meninges of the brain or spinal cord. There are several types, distinction of which depends primarily on the morphologic features and architecture of the tumor cells. Most writers have expressed the belief that meningiomas almost never metastasize. In this paper is reported a most unusual example of a meningioma which eroded the skull, invaded the scalp and metastasized to the cervical nodes. Although many sources were carefully studied, we were unable to find any case in the literature similar to this one, which is unique in our experience. REPORT OF A CASE V.
