Abstract
Tributyltin (TBT) from marine antifouling paints has been shown to have a major impact on the oyster industry in eastern Australia. Current research projects are examining the impact of TBT on Australian estuaries, assessing the response of sensitive biota to recently imposed bans and determining whether a continuing use of TBT on large vessels is an environmental concern. Keywords
