Abstract
Gorsky-effect experiments have been carried out on single crystalline alpha '-PdHx alloys with 0.56x alloys. The concentration dependence of the tracer diffusion varies more rapidly than 1-x. This deviation from a simple site-blocking model is an indication for the existence of hydrogen-hydrogen cooperative effects involving a short-range repulsive interaction between the protons. Keywords
