NORMAL KIDNEYS AND RETINAE AFTER 35 YEARS OF DIABETES

Abstract

Meticulous examination of the retina and elaborate renal function studies failed to reveal any abnormalities in a patient studied 35 years after the onset of diabetes which had occurred at age 29. Retinoscopic examination after 37 years of diabetes was again negative.
