Abstract
The angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors are beneficial to hypertensive patients and those experiencing congestive heart failure. These agents appear to have fewer side effects than many other commonly used agents. Nursing interventions include monitoring for individual responses to the drugs and providing adequate education to ensure the patient's compliance with the drug regime. Keywords
