Abstract
• Four patients with a central retinal vein obstruction associated with excessive deposits of hard exudate are described. When compared with a control group of 15 consecutive patients with a central retinal vein obstruction, those with large amounts of hard exudate were noted to have significantly elevated triglyceride levels, poorer visual acuity, and increased degrees of retinal ischemia on fluorescein angiography. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
