Abstract
The signal dispersion and Faraday rotation of high‐frequency radiation passing through a hot, possibly relativistic plasma are investigated. Corrections are found to the formulas given by cold‐plasma theory. Results for the damping are compared with synchrotron self‐absorption formulas.Keywords
