Abstract
We report a patient who presented with a prolonged febrile illness and evidence of an acute streptococcal infection. The development of thrombocytosis led to the suspicion of Kawasaki syndrome despite the fact he did not fulfill the usual clinical criteria. A two-dimensional echocardiogram demonstrated bilateral coronary artery aneurysms. Keywords
