Abstract
Studies on 30 normal subjects for 38-60 days proved that the creatinine excretion of [male][male] and [female][female] was not an absolute value for the individual, and was not influenced appreciably by the level of protein intake. Creatinuria in the adult [male] was found to be normal and not a [female] or prepuberal characteristic. A simple modification of the Folin method for determining creatine is described, which reveals considerable amts. of creatine that may be present in urine but not detectable by the Folin method. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
