Abstract
Far-Infrared absorption spectra of Poly(vinylidenefluoride-trifluorethylene) copolymers have been obtained in the submillimetric region. Results presented here concern the evolution of the absorption coefficient and imaginary part of the dielectric constant during the phase transition form II to form I of the copolymer. The submillimetric absorption of the copolymer depends directly of the structural conformation adopted. The absorption of the TT chain (form I) being more important than that of the TG+TG− (form II) one, the phase transition is clearly observed in this region. Keywords
