Abstract
The reaction of a ditelluride solution with M(CIO4)2·6H2O (M = Co, Ni) in the presence of triphos [triphos = 1,1,1-tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)ethane] yields the compounds [{(triphos)M}2(µ-η2-Te2)]·2C4H8O (M = Co, Ni) which have been shown by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study to contain the Te2 unit bridging side-on between two M(triphos) moieties. Keywords
