Abstract
Dairy females ingesting 109ppm F (dry hay basis) consumed less hay and total dry matter than those fed 55, 28 or 10ppm F. Body wt gain tended to be less for 109ppm F heifers but differences were not statistically significant. No differences were noted in height at withers, kg of feed per kg of body wt gain, or hay refusals. Neither two rates of grain intake nor 2 levels of a Ca-P mineral supplement affected feed intake, rate of gain or growth at withers. No single criterion was effective in evaluating effects of fluoride ingestion. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
