Abstract
Human cases of tungiasis were recorded in Mexico until 1948. Here we report 3 new cases of infection by chigoe, Tunga penetrans (L.), with 2 from Hidalgo State and the 3rd, although acquired in Mexico City, was associated with the other 2 cases. This is the 1st record of this species in Hidalgo State and indicates a reappearance of this parasite in Mexico. Keywords
