Abstract
This study investigated the comparative advantages of the KeyMath Diagnostic Arithmetic Test and the California Arithmetic Test in the evaluation of learning disabled children. Pre-and post-tests of both instruments were administered to 56 children enrolled in a diagnostic/remedial resource program for children with specific learning disabilities. The results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between the KeyMath and the CA T for the learning disabled population under study. The KeyMath was found to offer the advantage of providing individual diagnostic information as well as achievement data. Keywords
