Abstract
The effect of glucosaccharo-1, 4-lactone, (a beta-glucuronidase inhibitor) on tumors of the urinary bladder induced in Fischer Line 344 rats by addition of 2-acetylaminofluorene and 1.4% tryptophan to the synthetic diet was investigated. Neither this substance nor 3-methyl-cholanthrene either increased or inhibited the incidence of bladder tumors. Keywords
