Abstract
Aus Plantago major, dem „Großen Wegerich”, wurden eine Reihe von Inhaltsstoffen isoliert. Ihre Identifizierung erfolgte fast ausschließlich durch chromatographische und spektroskopische Methoden. Untersucht wurden die in der Pflanze vorkommenden Säuren, die phenolischen und die neutralen Inhaltsstoffe. Basen waren nur in Spuren nachweisbar. Es wurden isoliert: Fumarsäure, Benzoesäure, Zimtsäure, Phenolcarbonsäuren (Syringasäure, Vanillinsäure, p–Hydroxybenzoesäure, Ferulasäure, p–Cumarsäure, Gentisinsäure und Spuren Salicylsäure), Tyrosol [β–(p–Hydroxyphenyl)–äthylalkohol], 3,4–Dihydroxyzimtsäureäthyl– und –methylester und Loliolid (Digiprolacton, 1,3–Dihydroxy–3,5,5–trimethylcyclohexyliden–4–essigsäurelacton). From the methanolic extract of Plantago major a series of constituents was isolated. The substances were identified by Chromatographie and spectroscopic methods. We investigated the acidic, phenolic and neutral fractions. Only traces of alkaloids could be detected. The following constituents could be isolated: Fumaric acid, phenolic carboxylic acids (syringic acid, vanillic acid, p–hydroxybenzoic acid, ferulic acid, p–coumaric acid, gentisic acid and traces of salicylic acid), benzoic acid, cinnamic acid. Tyrosol [β–(p–hydroxyphenyl)–ethylalcohol], ethyl and methyl ester of 3,4–dihydroxycinnamic acid and loliolid (digiprolactone, 1,3–dihydroxy–3,5,5–trimethylcyclohexyliden–4–acetic–acid–lactone).
