Quantum statistics of polarized photoluminescence in orderedGaInP2

Abstract
In a previous work [Phys. Rev. Lett. 63, 2108 (1989)] we presented the first experimental evidence for the spontaneous breaking of cubic symmetry in the band structure of epitaxial films of GaInP2. Qualitative physical arguments were used to relate this effect to the spontaneous ordering of the pseudobinary alloy. We now present a quantitative description of the photoluminescence observed in ordered GaInP2, using the formalism of quantum statistics.
