Abstract
The water-boatman T. wallengreni (Stal) ranges across the Pacific from California to China; T. verticalis (Fieb.) is European. Living specimens of the latter were found in Delaware Bay in stations of 24.9 and 29.34%o salinity; and of the former in "strong brine of salt works." Transportation by ocean currents may be possible, in view of the ability of this insect to survive exposure to salt water. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
