Abstract
Synopsis: A linear trend for increased yield occurred as rows narrowed fom 40 to 10 inches. Population had little effect on yield, but panic1,e moisture decreased as population increased. Two components of yield—panicles per acre and seeds per panicle—increased with narrow row spacings whereas the third component—seed weight—decreased. Keywords
