Carbon-catalysed exchange between carbon dioxide and potassium carbonate at 500–1000 K

Abstract
Between 500 and 1000 K, well below where the carbonate-catalysed C–CO2 reactions occurs, potassium carbonate–carbon mixtures in carbon dioxide gas exchange carbon and oxygen between the CO2 and K2CO3, with two labile surface carbonate complexes as probable intermediates.
