Abstract
In this article, the effect of adding a low molecular weight modifying agent to a glass fiber reinforced polypropylene GMT has been investigated in detail The modi fying agent is introduced during the processing cycle in order to improve the fiber-matrix interfacial strength and thereby enhance certain key mechanical properties. Three different weight fractions of modifying agent have been used and the resulting mechanical proper ties of the composites have been compared to those of the base material containing no such modifying agent. Keywords
