Abstract
Relative permittivity and resistivity of zinc oxide-eugenol cements was measured during setting. During setting the relative permittivity goes through a very pronounced maximum; simultaneously, resistivity suddenly increases by a few orders of magnitude. Such behavior is explicable in the initial function of water, which subsequently becomes bound. Keywords
