Abstract
New ENDOR measurements on the N1 centre confirm the N-C-N+ model for the defect. The N+ is in a substitutional site with approximately tetrahedral symmetry. The N-C fragment of the centre resembles the P1 centre, with slightly larger unpaired electron density on the nitrogen, and a smaller quadrupole interaction. Keywords
