Abstract
Information on metal compositions for different segments within the system formed by dry deposition/airborne dust/rainfall/wild plants/soil/soluble soil salts for an urban‐industrial and rural area is statistically treated to obtain correlation coefficients between segments. Mass balances for metal constituents and lixiviate compositions are equally estimated. Some general ecological conclusions for the studied area are also included. Keywords
