Abstract
The bacteria in dental plaque collected from periodontal pockets in patients with chronic periodontitis (Case Type III) showed a coating of Clq and C4 on their cell wall surfaces. This was demonstrated by light and electron microscopy of plaque bacteria treated with specific antibodies to human Clq and C4 and reacted with peroxidase antiperoxidase. Keywords
