Abstract
A method for generating two entangled macroscopic ensembles of atoms via interaction with Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen-correlated light is proposed. The method is directly applicable for creating entanglement between, e.g., two distant atom traps. The proposed special type of partial entanglement is analyzed. Keywords
