Abstract
A review of the recent history, current status, and perspectives of development of neuropsychology in Latin America is presented. It is emphasized that neuropsychology represents an area of knowledge for which realistic possibilities of scientific advance exist in Latin America. Problems related with research and professional activity of neuropsychology in Latin America are examined.Keywords
