Abstract
The degradation of the superconducting transition temperature in A15 compounds produced by quenching from high temperatures is ascribed to site-antisite disorder. An Arrhenius relation is derived between this degradation and the quenching temperature. It is shown that measurements on the A15 compound V3Ga and A15-like compound Yb3Rh4Sn13 are in excellent agreement with this relation. From the slope of the Arrhenius plots the disordering energies are obtained. Keywords
