Abstract
An error in the model used by Hardesty and Weinberg (1974) for the analysis of the efficiency of a recirculating burner-energy converter system is discussed. A different model is presented and analyzed. It is demonstrated that in theory the thermodynamic efficiency increases continuously with the amount of heat recirculation. Keywords
