Abstract
Five new alternating‐current mercury arcs between oxide‐coated tungsten electrodes in fused‐quartz are described and the spectral intensity of each lamp is tabulated. Several points of superiority over the familiar mercury‐pool cathode types are discussed. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
