Magnetic Ordering in Dilute Cd-Mn Alloys

Abstract
The low-temperature relative electrical resistance and magnetic susceptibility of a series of Cd-Mn alloys containing up to 0.38 at.% Mn are reported. The magnetic susceptibility indicates an antiferromagnetic ordering which is believed responsible for the observed suppression of the Kondo spin-scattering term in the electrical resistance at temperatures below the resistance maximum.
