Abstract
Longevity of adult pink bollworm, Pectinophora gossypiella (Saunders), from field-collected larvae and from a laboratory strain was similar. Rearing at fluctuating or constant temperatures had no effect on longevity. Adults held at constant temperatures lived longer than adults held at comparable fluctuating temperatures. At constant temperatures below 30° C, females lived 65—70% as long as males but longevity was similar for males and females at 35° C.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
