Abstract
A Lagrangean density formulated in the Lagrangean coordinate system is proposed for a one‐fluid, inviscid, perfect, compressible plasma undergoing isentropic motion in an electromagnetic field. Variations of the electromagnetic field potentials yield Maxwell's equations while variations in the particle paths result in the equations of fluid motion.Keywords
