Abstract
A new World Health Organization (WHO) study seeks to verify recent findings on the social and economic burden of mental health conditions worldwide using standardized instruments, translated in a manner that is culturally valid for each location. Launched last month, this massive, in-depth survey of mental health conditions around the globe will focus on depression, which WHO expects to be the second leading cause of disability after heart disease by 2020.Keywords
