Abstract
Four pigeons were trained to peck at one key when two identical stimuli were displayed, and at another key when the stimuli were displayed with a wavelength difference of 40 mµ. With stimulus combinations ranging in difference from 0 to 70 mµ in a generalization test, key preference was a function of the degree of difference between the stimuli. Keywords
